Why Start Budget Reno Designs?

After finishing my Masters in Interior Architecture at the end of 2020, I went on to work for a small residential firm in my area. I loved working with luxury brands and designing high-end interior floor plans and concepts for our clients, but it's not what I was designing in my free time...

On the weekends, I was renovating my own home, but with a significant price difference compared to our client's budgets. Throughout my past 10 years practicing interior design, I've renovated 8 condos and 3 single family homes, all as part of my side-hustle. I would get inspiration from the high-end designs I was creating for our clients, but then go home and recreate the concepts with wallet-friendly pieces. I mostly use products from Home Depot, Lowes, Esty and Amazon to create my budget-conscious interior designs.

So why create a website? Well, I simply wanted to create a public site where I could share my personal tips and tricks on how to renovate on a budget for anyone and everyone! Because I believe, design should be accessible to all.
